Free during beta

Finish for me is in open beta — free through 31 October 2026.

It is the newest and hardest part of Wanju, so it should be tested in the open before anyone pays for it. The price is published now rather than decided later, so nothing about this changes on you: after 31 October 2026 it is $9/month, $79/year, or $149 once. Everything else in Wanju stays free forever.

During the beta you can buy the perpetual licence for $49 instead of $149 — one payment, yours permanently, including the version that ships when the beta ends. That offer closes with the beta.

What it actually costs to ship

Every AI coding tool bundles its own inference and bills you for it. Wanju uses the key you already have — including Google Gemini's free tier, which needs no credit card.

PathPer month
Lovable Pro$25 + credit overages
Replit Core$20 + usage
Cursor Pro · Claude Code Pro$20
Wanju Pro + a free Gemini key$9
Wanju Pro alongside the subscription you already pay for$9 on top

Wanju is not a replacement for the tool you write code in. It is the thing that takes what that tool produced and gets it launched — in any repository, whatever built it.

"What's the catch?"

Fair question — here's the whole answer. Wanju is local-first: ordinary project work has no hosted backend, and AI requests go straight from your machine to the provider whose key you entered. We never see your code, and we never relay your AI traffic, so it costs us almost nothing for you to use Wanju — your data was never the business model. Only the optional, temporary cellular approval relay touches our infrastructure, carrying end-to-end encrypted payloads we cannot read.

That is also why the free tier can stay free honestly rather than as a marketing promise: it does not cost us anything to keep. And if you would rather not rent software, the $149 perpetual licence keeps working offline, indefinitely, whatever happens to us.

That part's free.
